It was so wonderful spending time with my friend Annie Norris a few weeks ago. She flew here from Benjamin Utah to be with us during Taryn's surgery. As luck would have it the surgery got canceled because the doctors didn't have Taryn on blood pressure medication that would help prevent any problems during her procedures. It's all good though. She might be coming back in November when Taryn goes in again. The new surgery dates are November 3rd for the embolization and November 4th for the tumor removal. Taryn and Annie have a special bond. She thinks of Annie as her "Auntie" and there is a love there that is deep and respectful. I see a light turn on in Taryn whenever Annie is around and it's so fun to watch Taryn sparkle and smile when she spends time with her. Annie is one of those people who just brings out the best in others. She is magical that way. I haven't met too many people in my life who can do that for people and it is a very special gift. We were so happy to have her here for a week but it just flew past so quickly. Isn't that how it goes though? You never seem to get enough of the good things in life. Thanks Annie, for being so amazing, and for spending time with us.
Love,
Adele
