I love this picture of Taryn. She always looks like she's thinking of something profound. She's unique and colorful and always tries so hard to be what people want her to be. She turned 19 in May and is on a self discovery sort of path. I know she'll be okay, she's been through so much in her young life. She took it hard when her father and I divorced in 2003. Maybe kids never fully recover from something that tears their world apart. It's unfair and coming to terms with that isn't easy. My parents stayed married all of my life. In fact they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the year dad died.
